Sono di Ogden. Le recensioni entusiastiche su Powder Mountain mi lasciano perplesso. Il resort può essere difficile da raggiungere e da cui partire a causa della strada. Ha una conformazione strana. Ci vado da quando ero bambino e ancora mi capita di perdermi in alcune zone. Il tempo sembra sempre brutto: ventoso, nebbioso e freddo. La visibilità è spesso scarsa. Il terreno è a bassa pendenza: una pista nera a PowMow sarebbe una pista verde in altre località, come Sun Valley. È così a bassa pendenza che spesso temo di finire a terra nelle giornate di neve fresca, anche su terreni difficili. Gli impianti di risalita sono molto lenti. I due impianti più nuovi, Mary's e Village, hanno solo pochi anni ma sono incredibilmente lenti. A Mary's si gela. Il vento è costante e brutale e l'impianto è lento ed esposto. Pessima pianificazione. Spendete qualche soldo in più per le infrastrutture.

Ho trovato neve fantastica, polvere infinita. Terreno più morbido rispetto a molte altre località sciistiche. Le piste da sci tra gli alberi sono fantastiche. Il cibo era buono, anche se, essendo una verdura, può essere un po' insidioso. Ho usato lo skibus da Ogden, che rendeva l'accesso facile. Tornerò.

esperienza piuttosto negativa, consiglierei di andare a Snowbasin, è molto meglio ed è vicino a Ogden quanto Powder Mountain

Adoro questa montagna! Terreno fantastico e condizioni di neve incredibili per giorni dopo una bella tempesta. Peccato che gli sviluppatori debbano intervenire e trasformarla in un'altra Park City o Sun Valley troppo costosa! Non dovresti mai rinunciare al modello di vendita di abbonamenti limitati o biglietti per gli impianti di risalita.

Scio da qualche anno e vivo sulla costa orientale. Cerchiamo di organizzare almeno un viaggio all'anno nella zona ovest per sciare davvero. L'anno scorso i miei figli sono andati senza di me, ma mi hanno detto che avrei dovuto assolutamente andarci. Sono molto contenta di averlo fatto. Il primo giorno ero un po' ansiosa perché, pur sciando, non avevo dormito molto la notte prima e mi sono innervosita sulla prima pista. Dan, uno degli animatori del resort, mi ha calmato i nervi ed è rimasto con me per ore! Mi ha mostrato i sentieri, mi ha dato consigli e mi ha raccontato la storia del resort. Un ragazzo fantastico! L'ultimo giorno ho preso lezione con Sean. Anche lui è stato meraviglioso! Ero in gruppo con due adolescenti, ma Sean mi ha dato istruzioni diverse per aiutarmi a migliorare le mie abilità sulle piste, avere più controllo e acquisire sicurezza. Se potete permettervelo, andate al Power Mountain: lo staff è il migliore che abbia mai incontrato e anche le piste sono fantastiche.

On April 1, 2022, my husband and I had the privilege of enjoying military day at PowMow. Best ski day ever! Blue skies, beautiful views, many wide and long trails. The snow stayed consistent throughout the day. Even better was "The Dan and Andy Show" Haha! Best Hosts ever! I laughed so hard that day. We went on runs that I wouldn't have tried had they not guided me. Thanks, guys!

Powder Mountain is a hidden treasure and this winter was my fifth year at Powder. For 4 of those years we have skied and been guided to the best hills and conditions by your hosts. What a wonderful discovery. Andy Schuster has been the organizer of this amazing experience. We are from Canada, Andy has named us "Team Canada" It is a girls trip. This year we came with 7 girls, we call ourselves the "Sistas" Andy knew we were coming and contacted us before we came and set up a time to meet at the Yurt. The 4 hosts have become our friends and we look forward to skiing with them every year and catching up on their families in addition to having amazing guided tours of the vast terrain. The four nain skiers call themselves the ADHD group. They are Andy, Dan, Hank Nelson Abbott and Doug. They all came out on different days to ski with us. We had an even bigger treat when Andy brought his Go Pro out and videotaped us, what a treat to post on Facebook so all could see the amazing mountain at Powder

First time at Powder Mountain with a learner, and intermediate and an expert. Dave S met us and volunteered to show us the mountain and did so with expertise, stories, good humor and a real love of this wonderful mountain. We had just been to Park City for several days during this season of little natural snow and found little but hard pack man made snow and near icy conditions. Powder Mountain had a very good cover of all natural, well groomed natural snow snd great condos. A great day of skiing. Thank you Dave S!

We visited UT right in the middle of a 1 month snow drought.
Pow Mow had excellent grooming despite little snow, so big kudos to their Groomer team for working hard to keep it in really great condition (In comparison, the Cottonwood resorts were down to rock on some groomers and still over crowded & overpriced. Epic fail. Snowbasin had slightly better coverage than cottonwoods, but the grooming was average).
