8 febbraio 2025: Brian Head è essenzialmente il posto in cui porteresti qualcuno che impara a sciare per la prima volta sulle piste. Manca una significativa quantità di fuoripista/sci fuoripista. Se cercate conche innevate, doppie discese nere, splendide file di alberi, gobbe ripide e sciate in solitaria su piste non battute, questa NON è la stazione sciistica giusta. Ci sono due montagne. La montagna occidentale è prevalentemente terreno per principianti. La montagna orientale ha piste ampie e dritte che ti riportano direttamente a una seggiovia (o alla base). È essenzialmente la stessa discesa "blu-quadrata", indipendentemente dalla pista che scegli. Qualcuno deve essersi lasciato trasportare un po' dalla motosega e aver abbattuto troppi alberi durante la progettazione di questo posto. La base si trova a circa 2.900 metri, eppure la stazione sciistica è piuttosto allergica alle forti nevicate (in questa stagione, 2024/2025). Non ha nevicato più di circa 7,5 cm alla volta in tutta la stagione. Molti dei sentieri della seggiovia 5 (Roulette) sono stati disseminati di rocce delle dimensioni di teste d'anatra, nonostante le nuove nevicate.

Brian Head è il modo migliore per sciatori e snowboarder di vivere la leggendaria neve dello Utah senza i prezzi, la folla e il traffico di Cottonwoods. Il resort offre un'ampia scelta di piste per principianti e sciatori di livello intermedio, con piste ampie e ben distanziate tra loro. Il paesaggio è davvero speciale per una stazione sciistica grazie alla sua vicinanza ai parchi nazionali di Zion e Bryce Canyon. È come sciare nel deserto. La neve è la classica polvere secca dello Utah e le temperature fredde la mantengono morbida e leggera anche nei giorni successivi a una tempesta. Le piste potrebbero non essere così numerose come quelle di Alta o Snowbird, ma sono in linea con la maggior parte delle stazioni sciistiche del Colorado. Le piste di alta quota sono scarse, sebbene il versante Giant Steps sia più impegnativo rispetto a quello Navajo. Il resort può fare piuttosto freddo a causa dell'alta quota, con temperature massime che scendono a una cifra a metà stagione invernale. I prezzi dei biglietti sono imbattibili in qualsiasi altra zona dell'Ovest.

Montagna fantastica per principianti e bambini. Se non si è in vacanza, le code sono solitamente molto brevi e si possono fare MOLTE discese. Le opzioni di ristorazione sono molto limitate e chiudono presto. Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile.

Do not buy your tickets online unless you plan to put your life on the line driving there. We bought tickets online and UDOT was recommending to stay off roads because of heavy snow. We tried calling resort and were on hold for 4 hours. Never answered. We looked at weather cams and 143 was not plowed so we decided at noon to forgo skiing and try next day. It was still white out conditions at resort but we made it up there following a plow. We tried to see if they would honor our tickets not used from previous day and they said absolutely not. Spend the extra 20 to 25 the day off so just in case of the weather is so bad you can’t get up there at least you have not lost hundreds like we did. Horrible policy. If UDOT says don’t drive they should honor your tickets another day. No one hardly skiing but they still would not budge or give a discount.

The people were super friendly. great all mountain terrain, some flat spots on catwalks need re graded. More food choices.

Good skiing for the group. We had skiiers who were beginners to intermediate. What we liked most is that we really got a chance to ski the whole day because the lift lines were not crazy. Less time spent waiting to get on the lifts and more time skiing. The snow when we went was great!

This place is great for families and learning to ski/board. Not as much expert terrain. And the accessible trails are spread out around the mountain in various places loosely connected by terrain or by free shuttle bus. There are never huge crowds, unlike places in California. Compared to CA, this is an absolute dream destination. Compared to Northern Utah, it is a budget friendly little brother ski resort.

This is great place to vacation, small town but so fun to ski. Personnel are so friendly and helpful not only at the resort but the businesses and restaurants as well. Highly recommend making the trip and the drive from Las Vegas was really easy.

Probably the last time I would visit this place. I visited the place back 2018 & took ski school when it was half the price ($150 with all equipment was included). This time at ski school no equipment was include so it was twice as expensive ($330). In addition, the customer service was not completely military friendly. Brian Head Resort does NOT believe all military veterans deserve a discount for service to one's country.
Again, the Customer Experience was a bait and switch feeling for the ski school. I would NOT recommend this location to any military families since there are plenty of other ski resorts North of this area.
