Questa montagna è piccola ma perfetta per le famiglie. Non è adatta agli sciatori esperti e gli sciatori di livello intermedio potrebbero persino trovarla facile. Dalla cima si trovano una varietà di piste, dalle verdi alle nere. I principianti potranno imparare in fretta su questa montagna senza problemi. Non ci sono snowpark particolarmente adatti.

Questa è una perla nascosta. Per famiglie e principianti. Sci, tubing, snowboard, pattinaggio sul ghiaccio quando fa abbastanza freddo. Se il meteo lo permette, si tengono anche tornei di hockey sul ghiaccio sul lago.

Come hanno detto altri, noleggiare qui è un'avventura. L'attrezzatura è buona, ma non è uno scherzo quando dicono di presentarsi almeno un'ora prima di una lezione per prenderla. Eravamo in coda un'ora prima della lezione e ce l'abbiamo fatta a malapena. La lezione per mio figlio è stata fantastica. I prezzi complessivi per noleggio, lezioni e biglietti per gli impianti di risalita sono ragionevoli. La montagna (per essere generosi) è bella: è una collina, con un dislivello minimo. Le piste nere qui sono blu altrove. Impianti di risalita vecchi che non rallentano per scendere e piste piuttosto robuste, quindi gli snowboarder sembravano avere difficoltà. Anche se è piccolo, fa un buon lavoro nel distribuire la gente sulle varie piste, quindi non è mai sembrato sovraffollato, anche quando le code agli impianti erano lunghe. Il ritiro dei biglietti è un vecchio sistema "a chiamata", il che va bene, ma non aspettatevi di scansionare un codice e trovare un chiosco che stampa un biglietto qui. Nel complesso, è stato un buon posto per portare un adolescente a imparare, ma al di fuori dell'apprendimento, di una gita in famiglia o di una giornata con i bambini, probabilmente non ci tornerei.

I doubt we’ll ever return here. The line to rent skiis is ABSURD. And I mean incompetent, disorganized, LONG & absurd. One worker who looked about 10 years old was there-just 1 person running the ski rental area. The line which is outside the whole time was 2 hours long. There is no excuse for this. Go & rent your skiis at a shop elsewhere. Also-this is a VERY beginner mountain. Short summit, tons of kids. If you are an intermediate or expert skier you will be bored here.

We had a great time at King Pine. Just my Husband and I and my mom, it was perfect! It is a small mountain so amazing for beginners (or good skiers who haven't skied in 10+ years) Nice to be able to go up and down multiple times instead of 30 min on the lift. Cute finger food pizza / burger and hot chocolate just enough to fill you up to get back out there. I noticed a lot of young employees which is nice to see, relaxed attitude. Overall very nice - didn't stay at the resort but a great day of skiing

Skied today, Jan. 31 2018 and had a wonderful time. The conditions were excellent as they pay great attention to grooming and snow making. Super value, no lines today. Weekday skiing is great , down the mountain, get on the lift, again and again. Highly recommend it.

I have to say that i like this little mountain but on our recent visit I had my eight year old daughter and wife both taking lessons that started at noon. Neither one had ever been on a mountain before, they both had a good time and instructors were nice. Me and my son both bought lift passes for the afternoon which started at twelve thirty. After paying for a whole family and two in lessons for a few hours they would not make accommodations to let my son and I start thirty minutes early and get in a few more runs. I don't expect a lot but to sit on the bottom of the mountain for thirty minutes after dropping a couple hundred dollars??? What would it have really hurt. The lift lines were not backed up and the mountain not crowded. My recommendation would be to line up lift tickets with lesson times. It only makes sense.

KP is one of the friendliest mts anywhere. They really care about your experience. We started my 4 year old here and it is the best place to get a kid skiing. inexpensive and not intimidating. We quickly outgrew KP but I still love the place and what it represents.
