Adoro RED!! Il terreno è così divertente e l'atmosfera è rilassata e accessibile. Non devi preoccuparti di grandi folle, negozi costosi o ciclisti maleducati. Davvero un vero gioiello.

Lontano dai principali aeroporti, ma vale assolutamente la pena fare il viaggio per i ciclisti più esperti. La mia montagna preferita in assoluto.

RED mi ha viziato per tutte le altre località sciistiche. Il vasto comprensorio offre qualcosa per tutti e si possono trovare riserve di neve fresca anche una settimana dopo l'ultima nevicata. Non è raro ritrovarsi da soli con la propria squadra a sciare. C'è un accesso facilissimo a zone ancora più slackcountry, incluso un servizio di cat ski a pagamento super conveniente dalla cima del Grey al Monte Kirkup. Anche quando la neve non è delle migliori, ci sono molti terreni divertenti da esplorare e ci sono buone probabilità di trovare qualche traccia fresca da qualche parte in questo enorme comprensorio sciistico. L'ostello alla base è senza dubbio il miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo tra tutti quelli in cui ho soggiornato in passato, a soli 2 minuti a piedi attraverso il parcheggio fino alla seggiovia. Questa è una montagna per veri sciatori esperti.

Uno dei migliori, forse il migliore, resort del Canada. Sci tra gli alberi da sogno, niente folla, neve fantastica, atmosfera super rilassata con una fantastica località sciistica a soli 5 minuti di auto, raggiungibile con una navetta giornaliera gratuita. Il Rafters Bar è un ottimo ritorno ai vecchi bar per sciatori, e la terrazza del lodge è perfetta per lo sci primaverile. Le baite per la notte sul retro della montagna sono da sogno. Questo posto è difficile da battere...

Had a wonderful trip. Rossland is an awesome little town. They had their winter festival while we were there. Great skiing. Nice long runs. A lot of expert terrain. Not much for restaurants, that place is for skiing and riding. Going back!!

Superbe domaine pour les bons skieurs et le hors piste. La topographie de la station permet de skier depuis le sommet dans toutes les directions. Chaque run est différent ! Il y a de la forêt aérée à peu près partout et une superbe poudreuse en général. Si vous rêvez de skier dans une neige profonde au milieu de sapins tout blanc Red est fait pour vous :)
Par contre si vous voulez faire la fête passez votre chemin l'endroit est paumé.

I drove up from Spokane to take advantage of the freshies! It had just snowed some 55 inches in less than 48 hrs! Singles weren’t allowed because of the risk! I ended up teaming up with some teenagers and started skiing! The most snow I’ve ever skied! Couldn’t even see my skis for most of the day! After lunch I got separated from the group. After a couple more runs & looking at the map, I tried getting down the mtn! Not sure exactly what happened, but I got off the trail and snow was over my head! Luckily I was able to take my skis off and started crawling. Some three hrs later I crawled off the man! I was laying there in a pool of sweet in zero degrees F when an employee walked past me and asked me where I came from? I told him & he responded by saying that the man has been closed for two hrs! Skipped supper, headed to hotel & straight to bed! Would love to go back and hope the resort is able to survive!
