Scio dal '76. Ho sciato come un barbone al college ad Alta e dormivo nel camper di un pick-up per raccogliere la neve quando ero povero. Purgatory mi fa sentire come se fossi in un classico di Warren Miller, con accesso a moderni snowpark con mezze piste! Purgatory è facilmente raggiungibile dal Texas, ricca di storia e carattere. DURNAGO è una città fantastica in cui potrei andare in pensione. Approfittatene e scendete dalla montagna per un giorno di riposo a Durango e nelle città circostanti! Un sacco di cose da fare. Nella mia top 10!

Ottimo posto, adatto alle famiglie. Facile da raggiungere e da lasciare la città. Le strade sono molto ben tenute e la neve viene spalata in modo efficiente. Di solito alloggiamo tra la montagna e la città. Ottimi ristoranti. Persone gentili e accoglienti. Adoro questo posto.

WE love Durango and Purgatory! Great town and super friendly locals and visitors on the mountain!!! Its a surprisingly large ski area and never has disappointed ... spend a lil bit more and stay at the main lodge or if a a bigger group stay at the amazing Elk Point properties ( we need!! pretty nice!!)

Overall a pretty good resort. It can get really busy on weekends. I also thought that a lot of these runs were pretty difficult for beginners but they did have lots of lifts running which helped with the crowds.

If it’s a busy day you better be early or you maybe be driving around for a long time to find a parking spot v you can go up and drop everyone off but you might be parking down the road although there are multiple shuttles. Lift 4 is a 20 minute ride which seems forever especially when ski school starts using it. Overall it was an amazing place with a vast amount of trails to try and never felt crowded at all. Highly recommend this place!

This has been our best family vacation! It’s a family friendly environment and the staff have treated us so good. The kids enjoyed everything about the snow ❤️
