Calcola l' effetto di raffreddamento
Se sei mai rimasto esposto al vento durante una giornata fredda, ti sarai accorto di quanto esso ti faccia percepire una temperatura esterna inferiore a quella reale. Causa di ciò è la capacità del vento di asportare il sottile strato d'aria calda che circonda il nostro corpo tra la pelle ed i vestiti. La giacca a vento agisce nella direzione opposta cercando di intrappolare al suo interno l'aria riscaldata dal corpo. Nel caso di vento molto forte solo le giacche a vento di ottima qualità riescono a minimizzare la dispersione termica. In generale quindi se il vento è forte il corpo perde calore molto più velocemente, e la temperatura da esso percepita è inferiore.
